This is my first ever trip to Dubai, and I am not sure what to expect from it. Dubai is rather similar in numerous ways to Singapore. Most of the items are man-made, and this includes most, if not all, of the attractions. It is also an international metropolitan. I am curious about the place, and my family have been wanting to visit it as well. I have also heard about how expensive the place is. Probably, only our gas and cars are more expensive than theirs. Let’s check out some of the places that I visited in Dubai. I have around a week here. I will also be doing a day trip to explore the desert! World-class malls and all sorts of Middle Eastern glamour. Let’s go!

Conclusion

This is definitely not all that Dubai has to offer. It is really nice to be there in winter. It is so comfortable to walk around. I really can’t recommend the summer. It will be terrible. This also meant that everywhere is so crowded and busy. You will also be spending more, given that hotels will be more expensive. Dubai is a really expensive place. It is far more expensive than Singapore. We also spent more than expected on transportation. The next time I am here, I will just rent a car. That might even be cheaper than taking Uber. I can’t say that I am really a fan of the city. Most of the sights are man-made. I prefer the nature and places with landmarks. The food is pretty good over here, but expensive. Eating out will cost you easily 100 SGD per meal. I am glad to be able to experience the glam and splendour of Dubai.
