From Airport / Train Station to the City
Cologne is served by two major railway stations – Köln Hauptbahnhof and Köln-Deutz. From here you can connect to the subway and the tram. It is also possible to walk from one end to centre to another end in half an hour.

Cologne Cathedral
Also known as the Kolner Dom this place is the city icon with an impressive façade. It is also a Unesco World Heritage site. You should probably have recognise it once you are right out of the central station. You should also go out right to the top of the cathedral where it takes more than 509 steps. The entry are free but entrance to the treasury and tower have a nominal fee.
Hohenzollern Bridge
The iconic bridge is one that pass by the Rhine. The bridge is also full of locks, making up its name as the Locking Bridge. It was said that writing up your names on pad locks and locking it up could secure a couple love and eternity.
Rheinpark
A huge 40 Hectares park along the banks of the river this park is full of greens, activity and also a view of the waters. As the norms, beer gardens can be found here. In days of good weather you could find much activities and people spending their time here.
Fischmarkt
This is a historical market right in the centre of this city square, it is a must visit for the local freshest produce and also the way of the local life here in Cologne. Many of the locals come here for their day to day needs too. Sometimes there might be fairs of markets host on it.
Dufthaus 4711
This is actually a perfume store besides it’s product it is also popular for its building and also the much information you can find here on perfumes and fragrances. Try out some of their unique and special scent that can only be found here. It is open from Mon to Sat from 9.30am to 6pm. Their signature is the 4711 Original Eau de Cologne.
