The Conrad Singapore Orchard has quietly become my favourite go-to hotel in Singapore. I love it a lot and I can find myself heading back often for a cosy stay. It also has a fantastic Executive Lounge with the soup from their Michelin Star Summer Palace being one of the main reasons that brings me back. Furthermore, AMEX keeps running great deals that make it even more affordable. Amex was offering a credit of 105 SGD with a min spend of 350 SGD. That simply meant a 30% discount. I am currently on my 3rd stay already. The opening promo of 5000 points also makes it even sweeter. I have just shared my stay in their Deluxe Balcony Suite. I decided to head back to the recent PH a while back to check out the normal rooms. I shall not dwell too much on the facilities and the breakfast as well since I have just covered them extensively in my review previously.

Booking Process & Pre Arrival
Similarly, I book my stay directly from Hilton. They were offering a 5000 points opening special. With the previous global promo, I will earn an extra 7500 points for this stay alone. Parking is also included with unlimited in and out benefits for guests. Excellent value and elite recognition for being a Diamond member. This makes it even sweeter. I am hoping to try out something different this time around. I booked the deluxe room and before the stay, I got an upgrade to a high-floor room. I was further upgraded the night before to an executive room. I also put in a request for early check-in and the hotel very kindly message me in the morning of my arrival to let me know that my room is ready! I got an 8 am early check-in! Once again, to recap, Conrad Singapore Orchard features 445 guest rooms and suites spread across 8 categories. You can find the breakdown below.

Checking In
I got to the hotel at around 10.30am after having breakfast outside. Complimentary parking is offered for in-house guests. As I pulled up to the driveway, the bellboy came over to help me with my bags. I was then shown to the check-in desks on the left. I was immediately helped by a friendly associate who recognised me. Everything was reconfirmed and I even got a late checkout at 3pm.

The lobby comes with an open atrium concept with the bubble elevators in the middle. It does bring out some dated charm and reminds me of the style at Parkroyal Collection Marina Bay and Pan Pacific Singapore.
Executive Room
This should be the same as the Deluxe and Deluxe High floor rooms. It measures a lovely 35 Sqm. I was assigned a room on the 12th floor. This is the highest floor in the hotel. It is just a short walk away from the elevators. I love the cosy and pleasant room. It is a very comfortable size for couples and solo travellers. The room is in an elongated rectangular configuration. I love their signature scent right after entering. Immediately to the left, you can find the wardrobe. It is well stocked with a portable luggage rack, an ironing kit, a safe, hangers and a hairdryer. It is a lovely one but not a Dyson which is only available in the suites.
Straight up is the minibar area. It is a classy set-up. It comes with a filtered drinking water tap and all sorts of glassware and cutleries. The minibar is fully stocked with a Nespresso coffee machine and a Fellow Stagg EKG kettle. This kettle allows you to heat water to a precise chosen temperature. This is paired with a good selection of TWG tea and capsules. The fridge comes with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. These are replenished during daily housekeeping and turndown service.
The bathroom is the same size as the one in their suite. It comes well a layout with a single sink and plenty of counter space. The toiletries are from Byredo in large pump-size bottles as per the usual in Conrad properties. The bathroom only comes with a standing shower and it is located behind fully enclosed glass doors. It comes with both a handheld shower head and a rainforest one. Water pressure and temperature control are excellent. During turndown service, they also provide this Shower Steamer that you can use.
Moving on to the main space of the room itself, you can the plush kind size bed along the wall and facing the view. The set-up is very cosy and comfortable. It felt like a refined studio apartment. The bedding is super good and high quality. I love that the bedding is on the firmer side and I slept so well. The pillows are plush and you can also customize your sleep experience with an array of pillows, ranging from Feather Bolster, Ploh Pillow, Foam Bolster, Memory Pillow, Cuddle ‘U’ Pillow, Natural Buckwheat Pillow, Pocketed Spring Pillow (Non-Allergic), Contour Pillow (Non-Allergic), Non-Allergic Pillow (Firm Support), Non-Allergic Pillow (Medium Support), Feather Pillow (Firm Support), Feather Pillow (Very Firm Support) and Soft Feather Pillow. I requested some contour and cuddle u pillows and they were already set up nicely.
Flanking both sides of the bed, you can find nightstands. Controls for the lighting and blinds are conveniently located within reach. They also have a lovely set-up for power sockets with an international adapter, USB ports and even wireless charging pads on both sides. Full marks on this aspect.
By the side of the wall, you can find a large high-quality television. Although it is mounted at an angle, you can pivot it to face the bed area or the seating area. It comes with a good number of both local and international cable TV channels. They have a huge number of sports channels.
Along the window is a nice seating area set up. It comes with a spacious and gorgeous sofa. This is a nice layout with a huge coffee table in the middle and power outlets on the side such that it can be used as both a working and dining area.
Left on the table are a personalised welcome letter and a fruit platter. You can also find some welcome amenities as well as some snacks as a welcome amenities.
The view is rather good and scenic over here I love that the blinds and sheers are electronically controlled. Turndown service was automatically offered with some tea and steamer.
Executive Lounge
The executive lounge is open and located on the 11th floor. This area looks much more modern and nicer than the rest of the hotel itself. Here are some pictures of the executive lounge. It consists of dining tables and sofas around the area. I love the soothing cream finishes of the furniture and decor. Some of the seats come with power outlets within reach. The lounge is open from 6.30am to 10pm daily. I have nothing but good things to say about the lounge. I am always well-pampered by the executive lounge team.

All day drinks and snacks are served all day long. This consists of tea, coffee and soft drinks. Great place for work if you need a change of scenery. I love those old-school gem cookies.

The afternoon tea service is from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. They had some sandwiches, scones, cakes and desserts. I love that the selections change daily. The curry chicken quiche that they had on the second day was especially good! I am kinda craving for it as I type this!

This time around they had some mushroom pie that was so delicious. It is one of my favourites alongside the curry chicken quiche.
The highlight of the lounge is the evening service. This can easily be a dinner replacement and in fact, dinner was the term the staff used to label it. The staff are readily available to help with drinks and simple cocktails. They do up a fantastic Aperol Spritz. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff. They are polished and attentive.

Similarly, the food items change every day and they rotate around. I love that the food items are specially catered by Basilico and Summer Palace. The fried rice as well as the hot and sour seafood soup is my favourite. I had multiple portions of it. It is so good that I made a reservation to dine at Summer Palace.

The menu changes daily and this time around they had an amazing Braised Abalone Soup with Eight Treasures. This was so good. The soup never disappoints. It is the one reason why I come back all the time.
Drinks-wise consists of spirits, red wine, white wine, sparkling wine and beers. The staff also offer simple cocktails and mixers.

I also check out the breakfast service at the lounge. It offers a much more exclusive and private environment. The selection is a lot smaller than the restaurant. Service is a lot better here and they also have a chef on hand to whip up some egg dishes. Here are some pictures of what is available. They did have some strawberries here which is not seen at the restaurant.

Conclusion
I enjoyed my stay and it is especially worth it to come for a stay especially when you have the AMEX promotion. They just launched a new one recently. I have nothing but good things to say about this property with the most memorable aspects being the room and the executive lounge. I love how they include a sample of the food from their restaurants, Summer Palace and Basilico. I am glad to be able to try out the normal rooms this time around which is very sufficient too. In addition to this, do check out my review of their Deluxe Balcony Suite too. It is nice to have a feel of both room types!
