I have already shared this property extensively a couple of weeks ago when I reviewed their Deluxe Suite. I stayed here twice during my trip, once before and after my time in Abu Dhabi. We came back for another stay, and this time around, I will be staying in their Executive Room. The team tried, but given the festive season and high occupancy, they had already offered me the best. I would like to briefly share about the Executive Room. This is more or less the room you will get here as a Diamond member. I shall not dwell too much this time around and will not be covering the facilities anymore. You can check out my previous review to know more about the facilities and the restaurants.
Booking Process & Pre Arrival
Similarly, we booked the base-level room for one night on a Hilton Luxury Rate. We paid 681 AED for a one-night stay. This was such a great deal. The rate is pegged to the flexible rate, and I will enjoy extra benefits on top of my Diamond status. You receive a $100 USD credit, an upgrade, breakfast, double Hilton points, early check-in, and late check-out. That is of really good value. The credit is already more than half my rate. To recap. Conrad Dubai features 555 guest rooms and suites across 11 categories. You can find the breakdown below.

Checking In
We got back from Abu Dhabi at around 1pm. Seeing that we had some time, we headed over to drop off our bags at the hotel first before returning the car to make things easier. We then head out for lunch and came back in the afternoon to check in and collect the keys. It was very straightforward and everything has already been arranged. They have also confirmed an upgrade to an Executive Room. It will do fine for the short stay before we fly.
Executive Room
We were assigned two Executive Rooms on one of the higher floors over here. The executive rooms are of a good size and will be comfortable for both small families and couples. Heading on in, you can find an elongated entrance way which is spacious. To the right, you have the bathroom. It is on the larger side and even bigger than the suite bathroom. The place comes with plenty of counter space. Also, amenities are provided. You can find a separate bathtub and a standing shower. Both of them are located behind the shower room, which is fully enclosed. I like this Japanese concept as it prevents water from getting all over the place. The standard Byredo amenities are available.
The wardrobe comes with everything that you might need for the stay, with bathrobes, bath slippers, plenty of hangers and a safe. There is also a portable luggage rack here.
Right before you enter the main space of the bedroom yourself, there’s also a vanity desk that is located to the left along the wall. This will be useful for your items and for dressing up.
The TV console area is where the minibar is found, too. It comes with plenty of drinking water, a proper Nespresso coffee machine and plenty of capsules. There are also packaged teas and a fully equipped mini fridge. On the console is a large, high-quality smart screen television that comes with a good number of both local and international cable channels. The TV is of a good size for the room.
The executive room boasts an amazing 90° view over the surrounding area. You can really get an unblocked view of the surrounding area. It is gorgeous. The windows are a little dusty, as expected here. The blinds and sheers over here are electronically controlled. Left in front of the window is a sitting area with two armchairs and a coffee table. It is always nice to have a separate sitting area in the room itself; it feels more like a junior suite.
On the other side of the room, you have a proper working desk with an ergonomic working chair. Power outlets are also within reach with all sorts of plugs. The Wi-Fi connection is extremely good and strong in the room, too. As a diamond member, we get access to the premium Wi-Fi. What a great setup with a good view for an office space.
The centrepiece of the room is definitely the plush king-size bed. It is of a good size, and the plush sheets are high quality. There are plenty of pillows, and we also got some contour memory foam ones, which work wonders. We slept well. Flanking both sides of the beds are nightstands with controls for the lighting and power outlets. By the side of the bed, you can also find a tablet here that controls all the sheers and blinds.
Conclusion
I am very happy with the room. The Conrad treats elite members pretty well, and it is nice of them to always upgrade elite members whenever they can. I have heard good things about suite upgrades, but in times of high occupancy and holidays, that is not realistic. The executive room is more likely, and I am sure that you will be happy with this. The room is slightly on the dated side but still well-maintained and comfortable. Do remember to check out my other review on the Deluxe Suite, too.
