I have been wanting to dine at this place for a long time. Constantly, we associate crabs with Sri Lanka. Of course, I have to have crabs when in Sri Lanka. I have to see if it is really good. I found out about Ministry of Crab when planning for my trip back a couple of years ago. I have to check it out when I head over this time around. It can be said to be the best restaurant in Colombo and in Sri Lanka. I can’t wait to get into those huge crabs! 

Reservations

Reservations are recommended since the place isn’t huge. You can easily make it on their website. The restaurant is open daily from 12pm to 10.30pm.

Conclusion

It was a mind-blowing meal. It is hands down the best crab I have ever had in my life! The meat was so fresh and sweet. It is also perfectly cooked. While the sauce and cooking were very good, I can’t say that I am a huge fan of it, as it is a little too oily for my liking. Prices are definitely on the higher side. You can expect to see how they are printed in USD, too. The availability of the crab depends on the day of your visit. Just splurge when you are here. I would try the black pepper one the next time.
