This is the other rather new Priority Pass restaurant or bar in Terminal 4. I have not checked out since I last flew from here. T4 is still rather foreign to me. I have been putting off visiting this spot as it is inconvenient with the shuttle bus. It is the first one with the credit system. This nicely complements the other PP restaurant and lounge in this terminal. Do constantly check to see if there is anything new. I love this PP concept when I have an unlimited Priority Pass card. I always love seeing what is around the airport that I am flying out from. It can be very valuable if you have multiple outlets that work on a credit system. I have visited a number of these both abroad and in Singapore. What is different about this from the other facility is also this place works on a credit concept. This is preferred as you can order what you like from the menu. I am a huge fan of these restaurants as the food is usually of a higher calibre than those contract lounges.

Access Requirements

Tiger Den is open 24 hours daily. You can access this lounge via lounge program membership like Priority Pass. I have an unlimited Priority Pass through my Citi Prestige Credit Card or my UOB Reserve Card and I use that to access the lounge. A normal entrance will cost 35 USD. Typical guest entitlements follow.

Arrival & Location

The bar is in the central area right next to WH Smith. You will easily spot it with the bright sign! It is diagonally opposite the Crystal Jade GO. I was warmly welcomed in by the staff after informing them that I would like to enter using a Priority Pass and invited to take a seat. The staff at the bar area then swiped my PP card. It is also possible to access this place even if you are departing from the other terminals. It does take quite some time from the other terminals as you need to get the shuttle bus. This can be up to 45 mins. Cardholders are entitled to up to 33.50 SGD off the menu. If you bring in a guest, that will be 67 SGD. You can order anything you want off the menu up to the limit of the credit. Anything extra can be paid with cash. The credit covers the 10% service charge and 9% GST too.

Tiger Den

This is more of a proper bar rather than a lounge. The seats consist of both high table and normal table options. I won’t say that the seats are comfy. Some of them comes with power outlets. You can find some pictures of the place here.

As mentioned earlier, you are allowed 33.50 SGD per person. You can order anything on the menu. Check out the menu over here. The prices are on the high side. You won’t be able to get a lot of bang for your credits. A mojito cost 23.90++. You can’t use the credits for the merchandise.

The food and drinks take quite some time despite it being a lull period. These are the items that I have tried. The food is pretty disappointing. I certainly expect more for this price. The food items tasted frozen and just reheated. That brings me down to the conclusion that this spot is only good for their draft beers! Even the cocktails are disappointing.

Conclusion

I expected more from the food over here. They are alright but not gourmet for that pricing and price point. But since I am getting it for free, this is not a huge problem. The drinks here are lovely but they are overpriced. I enjoyed the draft beer and Singapore Sling. They have an extensive drinks menu. The value of my Priority Pass is unbeatable. I am keen to be back someday when I fly out of Terminal 4 to try more items. Check out the other Priority Pass options that I visited in Singapore.
