The BA Lounge is the last stop of my Oneworld Lounge tour at Changi Airport. This is the last and final business class lounge in the airport. I did not spend much time here but got in to check out the facility. It is just steps away from the Qantas Business Class lounge. You can find my reviews of the other Oneworld facility here. I reviewed the Qatar Lounge, Cathay Lounge, Qantas Business Class Lounge and Qantas First Class Lounge. There are plenty of choices and capacities for those on Oneworld carriers. The BA lounge recently reopened the facility after a 2 years break during the COVID lull period. They made some slight touches during this period. Let’s see how the lounge is!

Access Requirements
The British Airways Lounge Singapore is open daily from 4pm to 10pm. This is planned around BA flights to Sydney and London. You get access if you are flying in the Oneworld premium cabin or connecting from international Business / First Class, even if the domestic leg is in Economy. Oneworld elite status holders are also allowed access. Standard guesting rules apply. The Bar which is a separate area in the lounge is reserved for passengers on BA First Class. It is a lounge within a lounge.
Arrival & Location
The lounge is located one level above the main terminal. It is in the same area as the SATS Lounge and the Qantas Lounge.
You can find signs leading towards the lounge easily. You will see the striking entrance in BA colours right after heading up the elevators. Upon arrival, I was invited in after presenting my boarding pass. It was still rather quiet when I was there at around 4.30pm. The place felt very intimate and cosy.
British Airways Lounge Singapore
I have to admit that I had rather low expectations of BA after hearing so many bad reviews on their premium product. I entered the lounge feeling wow and it is certainly much better than expected. I love the look and decor of the place right after entering. It felt very posh, classy and cosy. The British Airways Singapore Lounge measures 1,005 sqm with a capacity for 226 guests. This refers to both the main lounge and The Bar.

You can find a couple of seatings that are nicely laid out. To the left is the showers and toilets. Let me come back to that later on. The Bar is located to the right which is only accessible by BA First Class Passengers.

Further inside you can find rows of armchairs and couches that look very comfortable. Power sockets are readily found and alongside each table, there is also a QR code that you can scan to order food and drinks. I will come back to this later on.

There are also a couple of communal seating and high-top tables. The lounge simply faces the inner courtyard of the terminal and you don’t get a view over here.

Inside, some sofas are very comfortable. This is my favourite spot in the lounge. It felt homely and had a residential vibe.

The lounge comes with its toilets. They are unmemorable. You can find them stocked with Elemis toiletries.

I love their shower suites. They are really good and lovely. It comes well stocked with Elemis amenities, a proper hairdryer and even a rainforest shower head. The space is spacious. This will be my choice for a shower when compared to the Qantas Business Lounge.

Food & Drinks
The main food and drink selections are in the middle of the lounge. In the first row, you have some coffee machines and packaged tea and then in the middle, you have hot food. They brought out some items just after 5pm. You can find some rice, chicken, vegetables and beef.

There are some sandwiches, cakes and fruit too.

In addition to the items that you can find on the buffet line, you can also order additional food and drinks from the QR code on each seat. A staff will then bring it over. On the day of my visit, they had some Aglio Olio and Beef Bolognese Pasta. Ice cream options are available too.

The BA lounge also offers champagne which is certainly sweet for a business class lounge. You can only order this through the QR code. It is not available through self-service. Some Ice Cream and Champagne are great for passing the time.

Self-service drinks consist of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. There is a huge selection of wines and spirits.

Conclusion
The BA lounge is a nice option for Oneworld travellers. They have recently made some slight touches. I wasn’t expecting much from the BA lounge but left rather impressed. The much smaller space also makes it more quiet and cosy. Furthermore, they offer champagne. Showers are also great if you require one before your long-haul flight. I am looking forward to being back one day to check out The Bar. Which Oneworld lounge is your favourite in Singapore Changi Airport?
