Marbaha means Hello in Arabic. Marhaba is a lounge operator with tons of locations around the world. It has been some time since I last reviewed the lounge. The Marhaba Lounge in T3 is one of my favourites. The other great facility in T1 that I like to visit is the SATS Lounge and it is usually one of my go-to ones given that it is open around the clock. With the addition of the Plaza Premium network back to PP, that is another solid option too. You also have the Crystal Jade for some solid restaurant food. The Marhaba lounge is right next to Crystal Jade. Changi is amazing for contract lounges. When I previously reviewed the place, it was still known as the Dnata Lounge. Let’s revisit the lounge and see how it is.

Access Requirements
The Marhaba Lounge is open daily from 6am to 1am. You can access this lounge via lounge program membership like Priority Pass. I have an unlimited Priority Pass through my Citi Prestige Credit Card or my UOB Reserve and use that to access the lounge. A normal entrance will cost 35 USD. There was no wait at the entrance and I was admitted entrance after showing my card and boarding pass.
Arrival & Location
The lounge is located on the second floor, one level above the main terminal. Head right after clearing immigration. You will find signs leading to the lounge easily. I was warmly welcomed in after presenting my PP card and the boarding pass. It is right next to the Qantas First Lounge and Crystal Jade restaurant.
Marhaba Lounge Changi Airport Terminal 1
Nothing much has changed from my previous visit. It looks very similar from the food selections down to the furniture. This lounge is rather spacious. The entrance is kind of in the middle of the facility with the refreshment buffet line right behind the entrance and the dining area to the left of the lounge. The rest of the area is filled up with lounge couches scattered around in neat rows of group seating. Here are some pictures of the facility. Power outlets are readily available and it is nice to see that some of them have a wireless charging pad installed too.

Complimentary wifi is also provided for guest’s usage. There are also some high tables at the side. The lounge is rectangular in configuration.

Food & Drinks
As mentioned earlier, the buffet line is immediately behind the entrance and towards the side you can find some proper dining tables which are more conducive for dining. I was here during breakfast service. You can find a small salad bar, some soup and congee available. There are also some chicken hot dishes and nasi lemak. You can also find some typical breakfast options like scrambled eggs and chicken sausages. There are also both cut and whole fruits.

Drinks-wise consist of some canned drinks and juices. There is also coffee and tea. Alcoholic drinks consist of a selection of red wine and white wine. There are also some spirits and canned beers. There is also a coffee bar here but they are not in operation when I visited.

The lounge also has showers and toilets which is always a nice touch to have. I did not manage to check it out since they were occupied at the time of my visit.
Conclusion
This is a solid option in Terminal 1. I love heading here to relax and enjoy some drinks. The food in Plaza Premium is better but drinks are not their solid side. Contract lounge comes in very useful whenever I am flying on a budget or in economy class. Trying to get an unlimited Priority Pass or at least complimentary entrances that fit your travel habits should be a priority. They can often come in handy at times. Adding up overpriced airport food and showers, it might just cost the same or with just a little more, you get unlimited drinks. I have already checked out most of the contract lounges and facilities at Singapore Changi Airport. The one facility that I would love to check out would be the DBS Asia Treasures Lounge.
