Fresh off the addition of Harry’s establishments over here in Changi. There are a couple of outlets added. It just gets better and better. This is always very welcome news to hear in the contract lounge and Priority Pass space at Changi. There is really a plethora of options over here. There is a whole network of bars, restaurants, hotels, spas and even caviar stores under the PP network. Anything can be available to members. It depends on the location. Do check constantly to see if there is anything new. I certainly love this concept. Check out my collection of Singapore Priority Pass reviews that I have over here. I only managed to check this out recently. It does go by a set menu of options rather than credits, which might be slightly inflexible. Besides this, there is another Mango Tree restaurant added to the network too. I have not managed to find the opportunity to do so yet. I will update this post from time to time when I have more pictures of the food to share.
Access Requirements
Heineken World Bar over here in T2 is open 6am to 12am daily. You can access this lounge through a lounge program membership, such as Priority Pass. I have an unlimited Priority Pass through my UOB Reserve Card or my Citi Prestige Credit Card, which provides me with 12 visits per year. I access the lounge primarily using these two cards. A standard entrance will cost 35USD. Typical guest entitlements follow. You can also pre-book the lounge via the PP app, although at an additional cost.
Arrival & Location
The restaurant or bar is a little more hidden. It is right in the corner. Simply clear immigration and head towards the left. It is very near the smoking corner. Look for Starbucks and Bengawan Solo, and you will be able to spot it easily. Simply head to the bar or approach one of the staff to inform them that you would like to use Priority Pass to enter. You will then be invited to take a seat, and they will scan your card.
Heineken World Bar Changi Airport Terminal 2
I will just share some pictures of the restaurant area here. It is more or less a proper restaurant with bar seating. The space seems quite comfortable to kill an hour or so.
Food and Drinks
You can find the general menu for the restaurant here.
The Priority Pass set menu is different. Let me share the menu here too. It would be lovely if they adopted the credit system, but nowadays it is getting rare. It does seem rather funny not to have an option for a Heineken pint or bottle when you are visiting the Heineken World Bar. That just seems rather ironic.
Food and Drinks
I did not manage to try anything this time around. I will make sure to update this on and off whenever I visit the place again.
Conclusion
It is always nice to have some additional options and more choices for consumers to choose from. I am glad to see Singapore Changi Airport having more and more of such options. I welcome the addition. I just wish that they could do a credit system for guests to try out more stuff from the general menu. And come on, a Heineken!!! It’s nice to have more choices, and having an unlimited Priority Pass just makes everything so fuss-free and easy. I seriously can’t understand the idea of doing a set menu as compared to a credit since it offers more flexibility and options for your customers. Priority Pass pays the same amount of money to the restaurant. The restaurant still offers the same menu items and does the same preparation. There will also be an opportunity to increase revenue if the customer spends more than the credit limit. Don’t offer things halfheartedly. I will update this post from time to time when I have more pictures of the food to share.
