This has been in the works for a long time. I have been wanting to visit East Malaysia for the longest time! This is my first time over here in the area and my first ever trip to Sabah! I am glad to be visiting a new place. This makes Kota Kinabalu my 222nd unique city in the world! I hop on a plane for a weekend getaway! The prices were pretty attractive, and we decided to come. I figure it will be nice to come here for a hop to max out my Priority Pass visits and also to enjoy some food here. Let’s check out the food spots!
Eating In Kota Kinabalu

Borenos Fried Chicken
Conclusion
There is more to Kota Kinabalu than this when it comes to food. You can probably dine here for a week or so to check off all the spots. Everything I had was of superb quality and value. The food at Fatt Kee was outstanding and the best we had the entire trip. It is also super affordable. We even squeezed in another trip right before heading to the airport. Borenos is another worthy one. It is twice as good as Arnolds but way cheaper. I might not be here to do any hiking, but I’m definitely here for the food and sunset! Looking forward to my next foodie hop in Malaysia! Kuching? Ipoh?
