I’ve always wanted to check out this place for a long time and to share an update. I simply couldn’t find the time to do so since I am always so packed during my time at the airport with the other lounge and restaurant options. I am glad to squeeze in one visit right before Citi Prestige devalues my unlimited Priority Pass. This is one of the options in Terminal 2 if you prefer freshly cooked food over contract lounges. Do check out my review of Wolfgang, Terrace Restaurant and Asian Street Kitchen. There is a whole network of bars, restaurants, hotels, spas and even caviar stores. Anything can be available to members. It depends on the location. Do constantly check to see if there is anything new. I certainly love this concept especially when I have an unlimited Priority Pass card. I always love seeing what is around the airport that I am flying out of. It can be very valuable if you have multiple outlets that work on a credit system. I have visited a number of these both abroad and in Singapore. Access Requirements

TGM Restaurant is open daily from 6am to 1am. On Public Holidays they are open from 7.30am to 3.30pm. This seems weird. You can access this lounge via a lounge program membership like Priority Pass. I have an unlimited Priority Pass through my UOB Reserve Card or my Citi Prestige Credit Card which provides me with 12 yearly visits. I access the lounge using these two cards. A standard entrance will cost $ 35. Typical guest entitlements follow.

Arrival & Location

The restaurant is located one level above the main departure floor after security. It is in the central area. Simply take the escalator near the duty-free area. The place is a proper restaurant. Simply inform the staff that you would like to use Priority Pass and they will swipe your card. Orders will be taken and then you can sit anywhere you like.

TGM Priority Pass Restaurant

You can find the set menu over here. They have three different menus. One for breakfast from opening till late morning, lunch/dinner menu and then a smaller supper menu from 10pm till closing. The lunch and dinner menu is the best and super wide with plenty of choices.

It works on a semi buffet concept here, you choose your mains and then you have access to the small buffet counter. Here are some pictures of the buffet for breakfast service. It will be more substantial for lunch and dinner.

You can find some pictures of the restaurant here.

I tried all the breakfast options during my visit. The more memorable one is the Saba Fish set. The rest are pretty unmemorable and also a little bit on the heavy side. The menu looks much better during lunch and dinner. I am looking forward to being back to try them next time.

Conclusion

I expected more from the food over here. Perhaps lunch and dinner will be better. They are decent but not gourmet. It is worth popping by if you have an unlimited PP. The value of my Priority Pass is unbeatable despite some devaluation going on here and there. Singapore Changi Airport is especially a great airport for Priority Pass. The variety will be very welcoming for frequent travellers. This is something that Terrace should learn from.
