I had a really busy schedule over here in Hong Kong. Time is not on my side and I wanted to visit and check out plenty of lounges and Priority Pass spots in the airport. It is quite nice over here for Priority Pass Members. There are a total of 3 different lounges and 2 restaurants. One of them even won the Lounge of the Year award. As mentioned previously, I have been a fan of these Priority Pass restaurants. They can be valuable and the food is constantly better than those at contract lounges. There is a whole network of bars, restaurants, hotels, spas and even caviar stores. Do constantly check to see if there is anything new. Anything can be available to members. It depends on the location. I certainly love this concept especially when I have an unlimited Priority Pass card. Besides this, do check out the Chase Sapphire Lounge which is another of my favourites and the Intervals Sky Bar is another of my newly found love.

Access Requirements

Putien is open daily from 8am to 7pm daily. This feel awfully early for an airport food court. You can access this lounge via lounge program membership like Priority Pass. I have an unlimited Priority Pass through my Citi Prestige Credit Card or my UOB Reserve Card and use that to access the lounge. A normal entrance will cost 35 USD. Typical guest entitlements follows.

Arrival & Location

The restaurant is in the East Hall of the level 7 food court. You can find it easily after clearing security and immigrations. It shares the shared space with other outlets. Guests can seat anywhere they want. It is a free seating. Simply lines up and scan your priority pass. You can then order with the cashier. It goes by the set menu format over here rather than credits. This is less ideal!

Putien Priority Pass Restaurant

This is not even a restaurant but rather just a stall in the food court where it is self service and you share the common seatings area. It really isn’t one that you should lounge at or stay for extended period. It is more to just eat and leave. You can find a picture of the spot here.

You can find the set menu over here when I visited.

Conclusion

While it is nice that Priority Pass have more and more such options for us, this spot isn’t too comfortable since it is not even a restaurant. You might appreciate having such outlets since the food is usually better than those stale buffets in contract lounges. I do wish that I had time to try them out. How could it be if they had Duddell and I far prefer the credit system? This can come in especially useful as prices are not cheap over here in Hong Kong. It could go a long way. Hong Kong is quite nice for Priority Pass, the Chase Sapphire is one of my favourites and the Intervals Sky Bar is another of my newly found love.
