This is one of the better meals that I had while in Perth. It is sort of the highlight meal during my time over here in the city. It is located in the heart of the CBD area and right at COMO Treasury, one of the fanciest spots in town. It is often said to be the best restaurant in Perth and has Michelin quality if there is ever a Michelin guide in this part of the world. Reservations are highly recommended. The restaurant overlooks the gardens and waterfront area. It is a spot for celebrations and occasions. Come check it out with me.

Booking & Prices

Reservations are highly recommended if you want to dine here. They do require a credit card and a 48-hour cancellation policy. Reservations which are cancelled with less than 48 hours ‘ notice, a No Show Fee of $50pp is automatically charged. They have three menus available for you to choose from. An 8-course or 6-course tasting menu and a Flow menu that is only available for lunch from Wednesday to Friday. During my time of visit, they were running a special festive 3-course Flow menu that is going for 99 AUD. You can find the menu here. Lunch is served from Wednesday to Friday, 12pm to 2.30pm. Dinner is served from Tuesday to Saturday, 5.30pm till late.

Location

The restaurant is located in COMO Treasury. It is easily accessible via public transport and right smack in the centre of the CBD area. You then take the elevator to the 6th floor.

Arrival

My arrival wasn’t perfect and it certainly wasn’t fine dining or Michelin quality. After exiting the elevator, you are in the restaurant already. There was no host or anyone around and we had to wait for a while before someone came over to usher us to a table. We got a table with a view of the waters and the gardens. Menu was offered and drinks orders were taken. We got some of their beers and mocktails which is great in this heat wave. We opted for the 3-course Flow Festive Lunch since we could pick and choose the items. We have different ones to share.

Conclusion

While this is said to be the best restaurant in town, I had my reservations. I do not think that it is Michelin quality, at least from my experience here. Certain aspects can be polished. When we first arrived, there was no host to welcome us. During the meal, I also saw guests’ bags simply left on the floor. A proper fine dining establishment would not have those to be seen. They will have proper baggage service, baskets or small stools for guests to place their belongings. The prices are rather fair and lunch is worth it. It is also ridiculous that they don’t keep small changes for cash. Unless they are saying they are a fully cashless establishment. I don’t prefer to pay by card in Australia as there is constantly an extra admin fee surcharge.
