This is another recommended meal of mine in Tokyo during this trip. There are countless items to eat when in Japan. There is much more than just sushi and cold sashimi in reality from what people assume. Sushi is the least common food item you see as it seems to be more special and expensive as compared to others. It is not something that the locals eat day to day! Having a teppanyaki is a must for any visitors to Japan. Teppanyaki is also a meal that doesn’t come cheap. It can cost upwards of hundreds and be prepared to splurge if you are going for those with Michelin stars. I would like to share about Teppanyaki 10 Ginza. A great option that offers a balance between quality and price. The quality is there, you just don’t get the personalised service you are accustomed to.

Booking & Prices
This restaurant is travel-friendly, you can simply make your reservation online on their website. You can pre-select the course and menu you want. This can be changed during your visit. They have a one-day cancellation policy. Lunch options range from 4500 to 6000 yen. Dinner options range from 9000 to 18000 yen.

Location
The restaurant is located in Ginza Six, a shopping mall in the Ginza area. It is easily accessible via public transport. I took a stroll over from Conrad Tokyo where I was staying. It was an easy 10-minute walk. You then take the elevator to the 6th floor.
Menu
As mentioned earlier Lunch options range from 4500 to 6000 yen. Dinner options range from 9000 to 18000 yen. You can also order the dinner options during lunch. It starts from a simple wagyu beef menu to options including lobsters, uni and abalones. You can check out the menu here. I got the Special Omakase Course that cost 14800 yen. They have now increased the price to 16000 yen. It seems to be the best since this will get me Uni, Lobster, Abalone and Steak.

Conclusion
I will have no qualms recommending this place for travellers to Tokyo. It offers great quality at a much more manageable price point. I enjoyed my meal and was stuffed at the end of it. I am sure that there are better teppanyaki options out there but with this quality of food and portions, this hits the spot. Looking forward to being back for a casual teppanyaki meal.
