The China trend is still going strong. China is increasingly becoming one of my main interests and the top destination for me to visit. China is a huge country and I have barely covered the country. Chongqing is the 4th Chinese city that I visited. This is the first in the region. Chongqing has a very high status. It is one of the four direct-administered municipalities under the Central People’s Government. They are not placed under any provinces. These municipalities are the highest-ranked cities in China. There are direct flights between Chongqing and Singapore. I am excited to share my experience in Chongqing and the places I visited. I have also shared my review and experience on Spa Reflexology in Chongqing & Chengdu. Do check that out too.
Transportation in Chongqing
Public transportation in Chongqing is extensive and affordable. They hold the record for having the world’s longest and busiest monorail system. Sadly, I do not have any relevant information to share on this as I mainly rely on Didi, the China and Singapore equivalent of Uber and Grab. It is super affordable and reliable. I love it as it is always so convenient. The coverage is extensive and it is straightforward to get a ride. Do set up the app prior and add all the payment methods. You can also link it to Alipay. It cost around 20 SGD to get to the airport and we never spent more than 5 to 6 SGD for rides around the city centre. Some rides are as affordable as 2 bucks. After some time, we even got Didi Premier as the cars are cleaner. It is not too much of a premium above the usual.

Conclusion
Besides that, it is shared above. Don’t miss out on checking out my guide on Spa Reflexology in Chongqing & Chengdu. Check it out! It is an experience all by themself. I enjoyed my time in the city. There is a wide range of things to do, from world-class malls to ancient towns. Chongqing and Chengdu are only about an hour away from one another. It might be slightly underrated as compared to Chengdu but it is still great for 2 to 3 nights or so. There are certainly many more things for me to explore and dine while in the city.
