I had the opportunity to check out the W Hong Kong KITCHEN Christmas special. As part of the celebrations, Embark on a journey of “Eat, Drink, Play, and Have Fun!” with W Hong Kong during this festive period. I checked out KITCHEN, W Hong Kong’s signature restaurant and modern bistro. The “A Perfect Symphony” buffet runs during the festive season till 31 Jan. The international seafood buffet features winter specialities like Baby Back Ribs with blueberry BBQ sauce, Honey Garlic Butter Glaze Salmon Fillet, Braised Beef with Spices and Red Wine and Foie Gras Terrine. Come feast with me!

Kitchen W Hong Kong
The restaurant is located on the 6th floor. The Buffet Dinner started at 6pm. We were warmly welcomed in by the staff and shown to the table. The restaurant is chic and very comfortable. During summer, you can even get a view of the sea and the sunset. The polished staff also informed us of the specials at 7.15pm, 7.45pm and 8.15pm! We were then offered a welcome glass of champagne! What a great way to kick-start the meal!
A Perfect Symphony Dinner Buffet
If you opt for the full drinks package, the dinner buffet comes with free-flow selected champagne, sparkling wine, house red wine, house white wine, house rose wine, beer, soft drinks & juice. They are serving Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label. They have Stella, Hoegaarden, Goose Island IPA and Kronenbourg for beers.

Let me give a quick introduction to the buffet lineup! W Hong Kong sure knows how to do it right! Right upon entering, you can find the dessert area. Straight up is a Haagen-Dazs cart with a great selection of ice creams. They are in mini tubs for convenience. All you can eat! They have Macaron Double Chocolate Ganache, Matcha, Vanilla, Chestnut Tart, Pistachio and cream and Cookies and cream! I love the Pistachio & Cream!

There is also a decadent table full of sweet treats! There are tarts, cakes, macarons, puddings and even traditional Chinese desserts like beancurd tofu pudding.

Next up, let’s head over to the sashimi and sushi counter. There are various makes and freshly sliced sashimi on the table. There are octopus, mackerel, salmon, tuna and sweet prawns.

A great buffet can’t go without a cold seafood counter. The one here at W Hong Kong certainly doesn’t disappoint. There are crayfish, periwinkle, prawns, mussels, lobster, snow crabs and brown crabs. I had some of the lobster and they were super fresh! I appreciate that the restaurant had scissors and wet wipes prepared on each table.

There is also a salad bar with pre-made salad, fresh greens and fruits.

They also have a roast station with Beef Chuck Rolls and Braised Lamb Shanks.

On the opposite side of the counter, there are some braised items, cheese and cold cuts.

If you think that is all! There is also the “Enchantment Clock”! This is the speciality of the dinner buffet which will be activated at a specific period during the buffet. Upon arrival, the waitress informed us that it would be at 7.15pm, 7.45pm and 8.15pm. The staff will ring a bell when it is time. First up at 7.15pm, it is a gigantic whole Spider Crab! Check this out!

Later on at 7.45pm, you get some freshly braised fish maw and mushrooms!

At 8.15pm, you get a huge Baked Alaska. This is finished on the stage and presented to everyone! It is super delicious and impressive! What a performance!

Conclusion
I had a super fun time here at dinner! It is one of the best meals I had in a long time. I am not usually a fan of buffets but this was super fun to dine. I love the Enchantment Clock concept and the timed specials. It is a great spot for the upcoming festive season and celebrations. I will recommend the dinner buffet here at W Hong Kong. It is very worth it. Just the whole Spider Crab already gets you your money back. They have even more Christmas specialities from December 24th to 26th, including succulent Roasted Turkey with chestnut stuffing, enticing Coke glazed Bone-in Ham, exquisite Jamón de Bellota 100% Ibérico and more. Do check it out if you are heading to Hong Kong soon during this period.
